Quite a heavy bike .... may be a hinderance on the climbs

First TT race I did, I didn't realise it was a TT. Blasted off out the blocks, and 'drafted' with a fast group for about 5 km. I then noticed loads of other riders were on TT bikes nd I thought "idiots, they'd be faster on a standard bike and draft more". Then it slowly dawned on me that it was TT race and I was on a TT bike too, so I'd burnt all my matches early to get a draft 'advantage' but burnt myself out I've done some others since, and with good pacing I love these races

I'd tend to agree - impossible to spot someone has used a PU.

The companion app seems to have duplicated the event - did you guys get two invites?

Looks like everyone has joined only one of the two events I can see my end so I might try and delete the duplicate - hopefully without breaking everything

i got 2, but joined the one that most others had joined. I rejected the other one.

I have set it up for Thursday at 18.30, and everything my end says Thursday but for Carlo it is saying the event is tomorrow?????

Looks like @Norry1 had a cracking time last night in a race. Another podium but with w/kg of only 2.8 Why is it when I race I need 3.1 just to get top 10? ha ha, I need to try to choose my races better

Just had another look and while the average power is lower, the 5 min, 1 min and 15 second powers are higher. I guess that is the difference between a time trial and a normal race.

Yeah it's just that on his companion app it says the event is "tomorrow" - he's shown me the screenshots - very odd. Must be a glitch because it does also say the event is on Thursday when he clicks on it (although also still says its "tomorrow too). Hopefully won't confuse anyone!

Mine looks OK. Says Thursday. 43 hours time.
