2nd workout session completed today. Looked easy on paper, but when you'r having to push high watts but hold a cadence of 60 .... that hurts a lot I know watts are supposed to be watts, but low cadence watts seem much harder than spinny watts ... at least to me anyway
@Whorty can you start at any time? Or do they start a new academy at the beginning of the month.2nd workout session completed today. As @Aleman says, you can start at any time. The one I started is 10-12 weeks long for about 5 hours per week. This will hopefully still allow me to race once per week too.@Whorty can you start at any time? Or do they start a new academy at the beginning of the month.
I've completed 2 of the 3 pre-plan workouts. - hoping to do a session tomorrow too but off to docs tomorrow evening so need to do it in the afternoon as won't feel like it in the evening. As it's a training plan, you can start it any time ... What I didn't realize at the time, was that there were three pre plan workouts .. only managed one of those before the plan starts tomorrow ... But I did have a strong IRL ride today

I remember initially feeling the same way. Didn't take too many of those workouts for the body too get adopted though, and now is a part of the arsenal to shift load between heart and legs. When the legs get used to it, you will get a higher Vo2 max score.2nd workout session completed today. In races it's my legs that give up before my heart so if these sessions can help me with that then it can only be a good thingI remember initially feeling the same way. Not the same as not disc brakes and a different colour scheme - only got out on it twice this year and now tucked away ! Do you think I should get the disc version before number 1 son spends all his inheritance before I have even kicked it !
