Well, I'm likely off the trainer for a while... I've likely got kidney cancer (stage1 T1N0M0). I've known about the mass on my kidney for a few years, but it's doubled in size over the last few years and more detailed imaging taken earlier this week makes it look more and more like cancer. The ER docs insisted on setting up the consult with the oncologist before discharge when I had the most recent PE. I didn't expect it to result in anything... But, well, that's not the case.

So I'm likely heading in for surgery soon. The good news is the docs don't see any evidence it's spread, it's still reasonably small and it's in a reasonably good location. So they can go in and just remove the tumor leaving everything else alone. Figure a few weeks of recovery post-surgery before I can ride at all.

Just to add to the messages of good luck; sounds like it is being seen to early and your attitude is great

Do you have set days that you all race like we did with Bkool or is it random?
As Andy says, we are trying to race together at least once a week on Tuesday evenings, normally around 6 oclock. During the week due to work/family schedules we tend to race at different times (so many to choose from on Zwift) but tend to post up on here when we are going to do a race and see if anyone else fancies joining too.

Once ToNY finishes we may get together more on other days too

I do think it would be a n idea to choose a race series, leagues or similar going forward. Kiss run a pretty intense series of races and they are properly and fairly moderated. They are not th wonky ones. I will have a look when laying around at home post Op and identify some for the group to look at and choose from. Given we are spread across categories it would be nice to choose at least one a week where we all race together from the off and then results are filtered.

I agree. We can select a series that works for the majority. Other races can always be arranged on an ad-hoc basis. I will probably struggle with a regular slot, as my (mainly work) diary is very variable and I can't guarantee to be available at the same time each week.

Flat courses, yeah? Don't want to give @berty bassett any advantages

I have no recollection of typing “ they are not the wonky ones” !! I dunno what I typed now but good old Apple changed it:laugh:
Could "th wonky" have been "the only" that was autocorrected? Although I prefer to think that you class some races as wonky
