That's 6 days in a row now for me doing a ride - never done that many days before! Actually feeling OK. Could have carried on tonight if it wasn't for the fact that I had to sort out tea for HID. Will ride tomorrow evening too although can't do Thursday as I have physio in the afternoon. You speedsters need to watch out, Whorty is coming for ya :boxing::gun::ninja::whistle:

I probably can do 3pm tomorrow. And the pack ride too. You have made it sound more enticing!
Ok, I signed up for both. Legs will.suffer Thursday though, but perhaps that long easy warm up will help.

The evenings are drawing in so I reckon another week then it'll be zwift again for me. I'm also going to let my son lose on zwift properly this year, I'll get him to enter some of the races with your lot to see how he does. On real life rides he has gotten really strong in the last couple of months and now leaves me for dead on shorter faster rides. He doesn't quite have the same endurance as me yet and bonked at mile 55 of a 68 mile ride, mind you we had averaged 18.8mph. we took it steady for 9 miles or so and he had recovered enough to compete in the sprint. I'll be sad not to do evening rides in the sun, but I am sort of looking forward to zwift sessions.

No, I have foolishly signed up to race with Lars at 3pm. 4 Laps though so I might still be on the course at 7pm^_^
Recovery ride

Sorry Bob, wife just told me we are going to the city. New kitchen is more important than racing she tells me. I couldn't agree more of course

No worries.
Will try and do a fast lap and see how it goes. Problem being at the bottom of cat B is trying to stay with the group. (off to get Espresso...

Anyone doing the Acadamy group ride tonight 19.00hrs?
Nope. Taking a day off.

ZA #2 last night. First part was easy -- my perfect grinding cadence and I bumped up the bias to 110% and was pretty comfortable for all the 5 minute intervals. The second part was much more painful and I dialed back to the bias to 100% by the 3rd interval. Plan is to rest today and either race or ZA#3 tomorrow.

I just get my Drivo 2 and assemble it, so it's ready to go *not today*. I don't know what that Drivo is eaten inside including a flywheel but it's good warm-up to drag that from place-a to place-b and back in place-a when session is over :training:.

FE6D2988-4DB7-4637-A562-1C2FC8B157F5.jpeg Just raced after 9 days off the bike- I want my Mammy!

Feck- so easy to forget it’s just brutal sometimes. Pulled away with the faster B’s and 4 of us managed to hold for 3 1/2 of 4 laps of the ring and then BOOM! Off they went a 4-6w up the hill for the 4th time. I was 3s behind at the top and then as a group they sped away down. I chased but was no way capable of bridging so rode in all alone for the last 2.5km.
