I did it last year and found it really helpful with a significant bump in ftp at the conclusion. I have signed up but missed the first workout which, frustratingly, means I cannot do the subsequent workouts in a group. I am not that motivated that I would do it now in preference to planned races and recovery rides amidst real life riding. So, I will treat the group rides as recovery rides.
I might have misunderstood your post Bob, but I also missed the first workout but I was able to do the second one with the group...?

I was going to hit Box Hill for an IRL but look s like wind and rain so may do the ZA workout at 8-20 or 10-20. Though the 100km audax at the same time may be a good endurance ride.

Anyone joined the Zwift Academy?

I have, but not done any events yet.

I’ve signed up and now that I’m back from holiday and work has eased a little I am aiming to get back into the forum and also Zwift, having transferred to the dark side. Watch out @Whorty I’m coming for you, I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 years since our battles on Bkool. Looking forward to getting to your level!!

I just need to get my head around zwiftpower.

Damn, forgotten how bad finding Zwift events sucks. My best bet right now is to go to web events and search for "Academy". Then scroll back until I se a date. If only they would have provided a date along with the event, things would be much easier.
Isn't there a better way to find the academy events?

Ahh, couldn't see any events in the Companion app at first, because they were filtered away. After removing the filters, they now shine through.

There is a link to all of them via web I have seen but can’t find it now. I think via ZA FB Page.
I use the companion app, events and scroll through by date

Thanks Bob, the filter was why I couldn't see them, and had to find them in the web events. Still, it would be such an vast improvement to include the dates along with the events in the web events. Typical nerdy programmer (like me ) to think it would be redundant data.

Just finished the first workout - Over Ones I think it was called.

I failed 2 intervals (both 4 mins x VO2) but did the others and got a pass overall. Found it pretty tough but good.

May do a group ride tomorrow if times fit.
