There's probably an argument for keeping it at 50% and keeping your derailleur safe - and your knees. The power output has to be the same no matter what. But, you can't knock it back when you hit a 20% hill in real life (on the same bike). The only thing that will prepare you for that is riding steep hills. So if I can ride 12% indoor my knees won't snap when I go visit some real hills. It's all preference.

Thanks for the group add, I've found the leaderboards. It's a bit faffy isn't it.
I like leader boards ^_^

That is absolutely amazing results weight and Zwiftpower. It makes you a mighty formidable racer, against all those 1000s of others. Is indoor racing your sole cycling activity or do you ride/race outside?

Before Zwift in Nov 16 I would cycle outdoors every day, all year round but it has been a game changer for me. I've had a few nasty accidents causing significant time off work so those days are gone. I will ride outside a bit if weather is nice like I did a few weeks ago, but my back seized up both days after about 40 mins so that wasn't much fun.
To be honest my ZP ranking is artificially high because of my race schedule and a decent sprint which usually allows me to finish well up. I don't have the 5min power needed to compete with the elite so would get found out in more competitive races up Box Hill for example.

Never the less, I believe you're no youngster probably compared to most of the top 50 on ZP, which makes your ranking even more impressive. You've obviously found your niche and take full advantage of it.

That was proposed maybe 5-6 months ago so don't think it's got off the ground.
Can't see how it is going to work - seems the first 10-15 riders, or lead group, battle for points whilst the rest of the 50+ in the pack just pootle around as per a normal race with no chance of scoring any points. Unless I'm missing something
