I might be...

For all but the most intrepid climbers, the Tour of Fire and Ice will quickly melt away into the Tour of What-Have-I-Gotten-Myself-Into. It’s all up: almost 3,827ft // 1,166m of climbing in less than 15.6 miles // 25.1km. Don’t let the mileage fool you — many Zwifters will take more than two hours to complete the stage. Even the well-trained and genetically gifted will nab times north of one hour.

Without a doubt, the Tour of Fire and Ice is the most challenging stage of the Tour of Watopia.

Anyone else used the Zwift hack that lets you choose which course to ride? I find that when I'm on London and it's busy my PC just slows down and then crashes (like yesterday) so I used the hack today and rode on Richmond ... along with about 15 other riders! Nice to ride the quiet streets with the odd target up the road to try and chase down. Oh, and with that little number of riders the sprint and KoM jerseys are easier  I held all 4 on Richmond at the same time

If ever we want to arrange a semi-private C-chat race that could be the way to do it.
I use it regularly and been quite happy with it.

The one caveat to keep in mind is if you sign up for a race/event and its on a different course than you've set via the hack, then you'll need to revert the hack so that you're on the right course.

I like "The Tour of what have I got myself into"! That's definitely what they should have named the Tour of Fire and Ice

Dilemma - I have successful managed to drop some weight (eventually) about 5 kgs in 3 weeks via a sugar free diet, yes no beer or cake for 3 weeks !!! its been agony, lol. However i'm tempted to keep my weight the same on Zwift as i'm right on the edge between D cat & C cat. I've enjoyed winning a few trophy's in the D cat...
Change your weight and go to C :okay: Racing faster guys will make you faster :bicycle:

There is no dilemma; use your true weight.

Monte if you're borderline choose the higher cat. You will find it on very difficult a first to stay with the pack or pace, but keep trying going hard from the start hanging in there for as long as possible, then suddenly you're there at the end with a big group going for the sprint.
