I vaguely remember something about a bad knee or a road side crash - let's talk about it!

In the “CycleChat Big Book of Excuses”, any unintentional body contact with ground surface is defined as “a crash”.Not quite a crash, more a gentle topple onto the grass verge Was the first time all day I'd overtaken him
I don't recall his bad knee .... did he ever mention it here on the forum?

Yeeeah. Last race was ZRL Tuesday before last where I was already feeling a bit ill. Then only rode two pootles on Saturday and Sunday.Very jealous of all the activity. Our house has been hit with flu quite badly. Upshot is I'm below my racing weight in December which is unheard of. Mind you no power in legs to get upstairs let alone a climb.
Anyone for else got the lurgey?
Power meter now working, after some problems!I had a used power meter crankset put on one of my road bikes today. The last one I tried was bought on ebay and it didn't work. (Advertised as faulty but I thought I might be able to sort it out. Now it isn't on the bike I might have another look at it once I have caught up with my other jobs.)
This replacement crankset was donated by my cousin when he upgraded, so it should work. I'll go and see if I can get it to link to my Elemnt Bolt...
Ha, everyone around me down to 5th will be promoted out of the division

Had a good race this morning -Volcano loop CCW 3 laps. Wasn't a huge turnout 17 riders. From the start a rider shot off the front. I checked him out, he had a RS 464. We let the young lad, 20yr, get on with it solo. The rest of us marked each other, a couple of the strong riders making surges to break the pack. I went with each attack, not full gas, enough to gently bridge across.
Final lap saw us down to down to 4-5 riders in lead group. Attacks started on the ramp, I followed, then those behind attacked too. Sprint finish to the end, legs buckling under sprinting. 4th Zwift including 20yr old ringer. ZP filtered all those promoted out of category I took a pleasing silver 🥈
The young rider who won, dropped from 464 to 359. With average 3.9Wkg. He will go much faster if pushed in a competitive event.
Link starts when attacking begins

How did the 20 year olds ZRS drop so much if he was at the front of the race? I really don't get ZRS
