Display reminds me of the "please insert disc" error screen on a PS2 but do like the gradient corresponding to the colour. Might be a bit too rainbow road for those who don't like the gamification but I'll be keen to stick trainer difficulty to 100% and see if I can grind myself up some actual TDF climbs.

15 minute playback feature has promise too. Nice to see zwift trying things in the summer

I don't mind it. In terms of aesthetics, I'm not bothered if Zwift goes full Mario Kart.

As we discussed a few months ago, I will also be looking for daytime racing this autumn/winter. Will be looking for a club/team to race with unless we get critical mass here which is unlikely.

We'd have a spot for you in Level if you're looking for a daytime team. We normally race around 10.30

These additional climbs in the 'climb portal' will be good workouts. It will be good to sample all the famous climbs with lots more being added to the menu

I'm undecided - if they become accessible for racing, that'd be great (although routes would be limited if the only way down is to turn around at the top and come down the same way), but if I want to do a workout, I'll do one in erg mode.

It'll certainly help if there are climb-specific HUD elements like the bend-by-bend stats and timings on AdZ.

Cheers Del. Will be looking about September. I like a group with a decent amount of pre and post race banter etc. How are Level in that regard?

Very good.

We moved across to Level from WTRL. We've stayed together as a group under the Level banner, but we've also got involved with the wider Level team.

The pre and post race banter in our group has always been good and that's been maintained through our move to Level.

I'd say it's been the best of both worlds. We've kept our identity as a racing team, but we've made new friends and got involved in events like FRR and the Ladder races as part of the wider Level team.

It's been a good experience as far as I'm concerned.

@Norry1

I should have added to let me know if you’re interested in joining.

The teams I race for are Level Mercenaries. We’ve got 2 or 3 teams racing in the morning, depending on numbers available and the competition involved. We used to be WTRL Mercenaries before the switch. A number of other evening WTRL men’s, mixed and women’s teams came with us.

There were a number of existing Level teams when we joined. They still race as well. I think all of them are evening teams. We have been joining with them and racing events like FRR, which has been great for team building. We also have active Discord groups where Captains can help other teams out who are short of riders. So, as you can see we’ve kept our old identity, but become part of a wider community which has worked well for everyone.

Mercenaries main racing days are Tuesday and Thursday between 10.15 and 10.30. Currently Tuesday for Ladder races and Thursday for TTT. Some of the guys also race on Saturdays when the winter months arrive.

The wider Level community also have races on other days, such as Mad Monday, TTT, Dirt series and FRR.

I’m trying to get out on the road more in the Summer, so I may not race on the Tuesdays in particular. I tend to race the TTTs more often. I like the team aspect of TTTs and it also fits with our current grandparent babysitting duties. That’s me and the wife babysitting, not the Level team!

You‘re welcome before September if you want an occasional morning Zwift race. By September we’ll be sorting out our ZRL teams and there’ll definitely be space for you there.

I think we've raced against you guys twice in the ladder so far and it's 1 all. 😁
Looks like we've got you again next week, although I don't think I'll be riding.
