Yes, will be!

This all would be nice.
But in all honesty, I'd also want them to ban bike swapping mid-race.

Why not ban power-ups and points races too? And fun.
And let's all go outside and stop this gamified nonsense!
Personally I think banning things should be banned.
I like the differences, and I like having a choice. But I've nothing against there being a race organiser option to prevent bike swaps - just like there is to enforce bike selection.
Love the variety in different sorts of Zwift races and really don't understand why people want to force their opinions on others.
(You should see the polarizing discussions about Cat Enforcement on the Zwift forums. Stalin would be shocked at the severity of some people's opinions. )
Just race the races you like the rules for and ignore the others. Simples. Although it would be nice if Zwift had a decent native way to search and filter races. Appalling that the best way to do that is on Zwifthacks
And bounty chocolate bars
Although thinking about it if I was in charge I’d probably ban socks being worn with sandals too.
Personally I think the only thing that should be banned is people giving an opinion whist simultaneously telling others they shouldn’t express there’s!
Ban the Bounty. I could get behind that.
I have to say, the most fun races that I did to date are indeed those where people are assigned the same bike and there are no powerups, would be great if organisers could assign wheels too. It takes randomness/luck & rider level out of the equation and contributes to the experience. So it's an example of how having less can give you more. But that's just my opinion. Why not ban power-ups and points races too? And fun.

Going back a few posts, wouldn't it be good if Zwift allowed archiving or deletion of obsolete and rubbish bikes?
I'm never going to want to ride the Zwift Carbon again. Same for the standard gravel bike, now that I've got the Aspero.
It'd be even better if you could set up an auto-swap function to toggle between setups while in-ride; preselect 2 or more setups into your 'pit', then it'd do an auto-slow-down and swap at the press of a button. No other clicking or scrolling would be required in the actual event. There'd still be a tactical element to choosing the right time to start the slow-down, and they could introduce a minimum stationary time of, say, 5 seconds, but it would eliminate the possibility of cocking it up through fat-fingeredness and make it fair across different platforms.
