Not this time. Alpe is asking for a PB, so I'll be chasing my own ghost tomorrow.
Was that before or after they introduced the ghosts? I find chasing/staying away from yourself really fun.Iāve only been up the Alpe once this year (the Pace Partner ride with Andrew Alpinist) so maybe I could do that a few times before NYE, make some progress towards my 25x badge. My brother kindly gave me a Sterzo Smart for Christmas, so Iāll be intrigued to give that an outingā¦
It was way back in June, so I wonāt even have a benchmark ride to chase, first time. I need to squeeze out a ride in the TT Series this week, too (Tick Tock this week), so Iām going to be quite busy burning off mince pies.
Haven't been on Zwift in over a week as I've finally had a chance to catch up on my outdoor challenge rides while the weather is "not terrible", having not gotten out for almost a month due to Christmas parties, snow, ice and after-effects of colds. Did 67 miles on Christmas Eve and a further 31 on Boxing Day in my new cycling jersey (gift from the in-laws).
Will think about firing up the trainer at some point tomorrow no doubt. Anyone got any interesting events/races/group rides (nothing before 10am though)?
I ended up entering something random around 6pm , unless you found something interesting?
I could try for thatIf I can make it home on time Iām going to go for this Race like a pro stage 4 event at 4:10. Are you chaps able to race any earlier?

Race like a poo - all done. Not sure of the wisdom of doing it on Boxing Day, but it's done now. Felt very hard. Held on for about 18 minutes again. Got spat out one group then another, then a gruppetto. Didn't feel like a great performance (compared with up the volcano the other day), but it'll be interesting to see what the rest of you can do.
Yes, thanks. PB indeed but not quite the 54 minutes I was hoping for. Wasn't feeling it today so went for a route with a longer lead-in to the climb (Tour of Fire and Ice instead of Road to Sky) but it didn't help much. Hey-ho, something to chase next time roundThree sisters is rough but I see you made it to the alpe @Peter Salt ; pb too?
