HOw'd you get on?

I got 8th and 4th and stopped after 2.

An odd thing happened though. During my warmup I unlocked the Pinarello Dogma, which is the reward for the Italy Challenge. But I haven't finished the Italy Challenge. Still got about 10% left. Weird. Anyone else had similar?

I did well I think. I found the titans grove section very tough. My lungs were at the limit really. But I held on, and then stayed to the front group over the top. So that was quite satisfying. When we got to the bottom of the Epic kom I got dropped very quickly. I was watching the numbers of the people ahead of me and they put out much higher power than I’m capable of at present so I can’t really complain about that. I finished a long way ahead of the highest finishing B category rider so that all good too.

Does anyone know Philip Plummer…he’s faster than that former Splitter and now A racer Tommy Two Toes 😀

Former splitter

I got dropped very quickly in that makuri race so after that I just spun around the rest of the course with two other guys. Not to take anything away from Philip Plummer!

Off topic… but regarding makuri. Just throwing it out there for debate but a bit dull for races isn’t it? I think I prefer New York. I know New York splits opinion because of the glass roads. But in terms of racing it’s got a few really good tracks hasn’t it? Maybe makuri has got one decent one? Dunno…

Any chance you got the dogma for levelling up? I nearly bought one in real life a couple of years back. But much like zwift I feel like there’s always a better option.

I”m about 800 xp short of the next level, so not that either. A bit weird, really. Unless you get it at 90%, not 100, which would be silly.

Ok I found out the reason for this Pinarello Dogma thing.

Apparently...
You’ll actually get the bike at around the 90% completion mark, when you hit Treviso, home of Pinarello Bicycles.

Well that explains that then. I thought it was a bug, not a feature

Not sure it's any use, but there you go.

You know I’m teasing @<Tommy> - I was going to say you’ll be back in the B camp in 3 months but honestly you’re strong enough to compete in A and hopefully a few of us can join you there before the end of the Zwift winter season

😄 I know that amigo

About you teasing, rather than my chances of competing in A. Boy that’s going to take some work! At the moment the motivation is just to try and stay in the bunch as long as possible.

It’d be brilliant if a few of us could make the jump wouldn’t it?
