The day is nearly upon me... It's been 3 months since I did my groin and now my cold is clearing up I am hoping to properly ride again and not have any groin problems... Sunday morning is the day. Wish me luck!!
Did the club 50:50 ride last night. It's part off-road, part road. Good fun. Starts and ends at a pub. One guy had an eMTB.
Wasn't gonna let him get away, so I drafted him up the final (only) hill. When he turned round he was surprised to see me still there. Nobody else tried. Was very funny.
Oooh you accept Emtb 👍
I think the clubs around me accept e-bikes but in practice it's the elderly riding them. More elderly then you lotCertainly on the semi-off-road rides. I haven't seen an ebike on a traditional group ride (yet) but there is no rule saying you can't. Personally, I can't see an issue with it as long as the rider stays within the club ride protocol. They'd certainly suffer on the faster rides though if their e-assist was cutting off at 15.5mph
Here you go someone should surely beat my time

I didn't help I drank far too much alcohol last night

What was with the 400W spurts at 3:00 and 5:00 and the <200W bit at the foot of the climb!?
Pacing is absolutely key on Bologna. I've had a few bad experiences there!
What bike is that you're using? It doesn't look like a TT bike, were they not allowed?
They were allowed, just thought for the short flat bit wasn't worth me changing from my usual bike. I may have lost 30secs on the flat
I'll have a go next week and try not to over indulge the night before
