Not once has my battered old laptop froze on zwift. The old one was a bit sluggish to pick up the signal so used my wife's brand new laptop.

Lovely graphics, very responsive...

...then 7.34 mins in freezes. Cycles for another 5 or 6 mins but not responding at all.

Really sorry #68

Lots of problems for people on Zwift today. Wonder if the update didn’t help.

I saw that, It worked fine before and after so who knows. Still raging, but I'd have been angrier if I'd actually picked up some points in the sprint and then it froze

I had people bouncing all over , disappearing and reappearing. Not that it mattered as I messed my own race up by pressing wrong button on ATV remote to activate power up .
Pete , Al and Bridgy scored points , it was a trickier course and more demanding than it looked .

Unlucky Andy it happens the best of us. Usually more than once 😬😀

i finished 23rd place. I managed to get over the KOM with the front group but the chase on the way down took it out of me. On the second ascent of the aqueduct I managed to get myself dropped, so had a cruise for a while in a small bunch and then sprinted for 23rd place. A tad disappointed as I thought having got over the big climb with the front I would have been ok to get to the finish with them.

great going again Pete, and solid riding from all the team. Looking forward to seeing the results - I think we will have done ok. The Spanish noobs team are looking good though.

That was a long one....
In hindsight I quite enjoyed it and was pleased with my effort.
Fast start as always but got in a nice group w/ @Joffey @JLaw & @steverob we kept a good pace up until the Aquaduct when the group split, I managed to hold on to the our group ( I like the Aquaduct climb ), my problem arrives after when the road undulates slightly through the bends.
I seem to get dropped there a lot despite pushing hard. Climbed the Petit KOM with 2 other guys but we split at the top with one descending like a demon ! I managed to catch him again and we rode as a pair to the flamme rouge where I went for the long sprint..... I won't go into too much detail but let's just say.... It didn't work 😉

Great riding with you guys as always... :notworthy:

I enjoyed it too. It's not a bad course. I'll have to do the full route in the new year one Saturday morning when we are snowed in!

Hello!

Wondered why I wasn’t getting updates from you chaps? Had I been banned? Did one of my excuses result in expulsion from this thread? Was last week’s happiness just too much to take?

No! I’d somehow managed to hit the Ignore Thread button. I’ve unignored it and I’m now enjoying a collection of watches and some 1970s wallpaper!

Carry on!

And 14 out of 22 for us last night.

I dropped myself, put myself back in the team after another drop out and then dropped myself again due to a saddle sore. That course looked brutal even from the Team Car!

We’re 17 from 22 after 7 rounds
