Rode the Tuesday ZRL route today.
Just back from a week away. I’ve been suffering from sinus and back trouble (unrelated you’ll be pleased to hear 😂) and thought I’d do a recce and see if I’d recovered enough to ride. Felt ok so hopefully I’ll be good to go on Tuesday. It’s going to be an interesting race with that route!
I’ve been asked to captain one of the WTRL teams. I was thinking of dropping myself as I’ve been off the bike for a week or so, but may end up riding after all. Anyhow @Brendan Parker told me that if I dropped myself, I’d have to sign up with the Bolt Racing Team instead! 🤣🤣

Strong ZsunR team in there. All B’s. They will work together at least until the volcano so if we can stay with them at the start then an opportunity to draft.
That's a coincidence. The #23 pool has RLSCC (Royal Leamington Spa Cc) in it. This is the local club adjacent to me - and I used to be a member. I'll have to see who is on their team.

Have the majority of people got discord? It'll be more important for TTTs and when we are in our groups.
Failing that make sure everyone is following everyone on their team so you can see where they are on the road, if you are both isolated and a minute apart on the volcano makes sense to team up etc. Also to give a few words of encouragement - it's a long one
