Mate have you tried sufferfest before? I was looking at giving this a go.Nay ... but that's not a bad thing as it will help me focus on my own thing and not be tempted to race
i have a plan ......
I'm thinking about it, but I doubt I'll be able to join for the whole series - this may just be a one-off race for me.
I voted for all the days I could do (so yes to Mon, Thur, Fri) etc .... I assumed this was the way to do it as I had no preference on days I could make (until 21st July!) but def can't do Tues and Weds
Yay! When’s the first race! Dare I suggest the following....Ok so how’s about this...
Monday I’m going to say at least more than half of us plan to race the Irish league. So why impede on that. Thursday at least 4 people (and I encourage more to try it) race the ttt league so why impede on that. Friday is family time.
I know Del And Jeff (?) can’t do Wednesdays. Maybe some can’t do Tuesday (?). Also nice to break the high intensity days where we can.
So... Tuesday, Wednesday on a rotation. Every two weeks. Between 6:30-7:30 window. We rotate the events discussed.
Please state, yay or nay!
I'm just using the free trial of FulGaz for 30 days ... when that runs out I'm going to give Sufferfest a go on their free trial. I'll then sign up to the one that gets me riding the most. I still have 20 days left on FulGaz so will be later this month for SF.Mate have you tried sufferfest before? I was looking at giving this a go.
Yay! When’s the first race! Dare I suggest the following....
Race 1 - Wed 8th July - Race (all start together)
Race 2 - Tue 21st July - Individual Time Trial (starting in reverse order of race 1 results)
Race 3 - Wed 5th Aug - Crit Race with last man out each lap (crit city)
Race 4 - Tue 18th Aug - Individual Time Trial with handicaps based on Race #2 ITT
Race 5 - Wed 2nd Sept - Team TT with handicaps (riders equally grouped by ITT performance)
Im sure @peterob could come up with a points system too for an overall.
Holidays, work, family, life, etc will no doubt get in the way at some point for a lot of us so hopefully the above will be of interest to keep the meet ups going through the summer.
