I’m can’t see what Bridgy’s team could of done differently to what they did to be honest bruusgard. Isn’t it obvious that sometimes these things can’t be helped? But other times they can be helped and people choose not to give way? Which is obviously not the same thing?

What’s silly about this conversation is that if the group was bigger going downhill it was actually an advantage to the DBR team too. And zsunr gave way as soon as they could. So honestly who cares?

Please answer these 3 questions as honestly and unbiased as possible.

Did the ZsunR team/riders choose A or B:

A) Drop wkg to lowest possible (above 0) to avoid supertucking and catching DBR on the downhill?
B) Continue to do random 4wkg+ surges as to stay with (or pass) DBR riders on the downhill?

A) Drop wkg enough to avoid drafting DBR on the flat section (starting at 30.5 km) (i.e. drop back at least 2 seconds (25m rule))?
B) Continue to do random 4-8wkg surges as to stay with/catch DBR riders after that?

A) Start to yield/give way when possible (using the above) at 29.5km when the last DBR rider passes?
B) Start to yield only after being told to "get lost" and "25m rule" at 30.8km (and not adhering to the 25m rule before at 31.4km)?

I know in the heat of the moment, bad/wrong decisions are made (ask Nils Eekhoff), but I think that goes for other teams as well, so I'm not blaming ZsunR any more than any other team. I just found it funny that you call other teams names because they (or one of their riders) were not adhering to the rules, but is OK with your "own" team not adhering either.

As to who cares, those reporting other teams/riders must care, right? Maybe other teams up/down the road care too, if they knew a team was drafting where it shouldn't be?

I have 100s of Zwift videos on my YouTube showing how easy it is to get dropped by a group, if you want to or (in my case) not.
It can be done in less than 5 seconds, and even faster if you enter the pairing screen for a second, which I accidentally did in last night's group ride.

I'm sure this stuff happens in lots of other WTRL TTTs too, but this particular DBR stream is the only WTRL recording I've watched, as it was posted on the DBR Facebook page back on May 7th.

@Brusgaard it was me not Tommy who called the other team. For the record they, having been passed, rode into us 3 possibly 4 times, led by their leader who was effectively sprinting at 5w/k to do so. We pushed on to ride free of them only to have them come back at us repeatedly before eventually being dropped. It was deliberate. They were called out by us and another team behind us to no avail. They were reported at the time and officially afterwards.
You posted referring to ZsunR and posting a pic that on the face of it suggested non compliance with the rules. I think you did that to suggest hypocrisy or similar on my part- as if I am somehow responsible for the actions of one of ZsunR’s many teams or I should refrain from criticising others without first checking how all the other ZsunR teams have raced. I am not and will not. You, as I also suggested , can call out any perceived rule infringement or cheating you see. That said if one is going to comment then probably it’s best to be in the race and to have a greater sense of what is happening rather than make a guess at what you think you see...

Busgard did you mean to quote my post? If so I fail to see where I have called anyone or team by names?

I think it’s the way of the modern world that if someone has a different opinion to you rather than just accepting that they have a different opinion you suggest that they are being biased. It’s coincided and used to great effect by the new wave of populist politicians around the world. It depresses me to be honest but there you go...

I gave you my opinion already. I made that opinion after watching the clip and based it on my experience not on the colour of the team jerseys. My opnion hasn’t changed.

You may have noticed over the years I do give my opinion freely even if it’s not going to be popular! so it’s up to you to make your own judgment on that.

If the danish team flag it with the organisers I’d be interested to hear what the decision is.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend 👍

In Danish “you” means “someone“ (the Danish term is ”I” or man”). “You“ can be used to described multiple people, as in “You are all crazy”. If I meant Tommy, I would have written YOU (and in Danish ”du”).
Here’s the Danish sentence: “Det er sjovt, hvis man giver andre hold øgenavne, men synes det er OK, at ens eget hold ikke overholder reglerne.”.

Again, I’m not commenting on YOUR race, as I was not in it, nor have I seen any recording or been listening in on either the PSBR or ZsunR ”teamradio” as to what actually happened. I just posted a picture showing ZsunR being told to “get lost” after drafting 1.3 km, just as you posted a picture with your team telling PSBR to Fffff Offf.

It was you (as in multiple persons) who started defending why the ZsunR team didn’t yield, when they could/should in the DBR recording. I could have posted the frames where the ZsunR rider(s) were pushing 5+ and 8+ wkg to catch up, but it is all in the video. So YOU tell me, what do YOU see in the DBR video?

Have I said anywhere, that I hold YOU responsible for, what the other ZsunR teams are doing? I just think that one should not be calling names if his/her “own” team (as in ZsunR in general) are not always adhering either.

The same goes for Team CycleChat. I don’t think it is OK to enter a cat below your current ZP one just to help a team mate. In the current UNO-X Cup, there is a Danish rider who always joins the C cat, even though he is ZP B cat. One should call out such a rider, but as CC has done the same at least once, I’m not going to. He does get DQ/WKG every time, but at that point has already helped his team or at least influenced the C cat. race.

I don’t think DBR flagged it. ZsunR DID finally yield after two “warnings”, and AFAIK a third warning would have been instant DQ, if I remember the WTRL rules correctly?

You enjoy your weekend too - and maybe give the video a second look.

Look, you may not say I am responsible for Zsunr yet at the same time you say I cannot call out infringements or rule breaking if other zsunr teams are infringing etc. Thats pretty much the same thing. Actually, I can call out Other teams whether I am aware of Zsunr riders or teams disobeying the rules or not. My attention would have to be drawn to the infringement. It would simply make me a hypocrite if I knew of zsunr infringements and called out other teams. I didn’t. So, I wasn’t.

Ok, so now you know. :okay:

I’m going to resist the small urge to ask when team CycleChat fielded riders in a lower category race than their Zwiftpower racing cat in the DBR league.

Anyone else going to go there? I’m happy to read it but not sure I want to be directly involved

I actually do know * and whilst I don't agree with it I didn't call it out as i didn't want to start an argument on here

On a separate note, I've started the 14 day free trial with Fulgaz today and really enjoyed it. No racing, just video rides but very enjoyable (if you can call climbing Hardnott Pass enjoyable xx( ). Very similar to BRVR but with flat rides too, so not just all big climbs.

* It wasn't me :okay:

I will ask though - Steen do you have a little black book of infringements for future reference? :okay:

No, but I tend to remember wrong doings. ^_^

And even though @Whorty is not the guilty one in this case, I have a few pages reserved for him in a future book. There will be BKOOL, Zwift, BRVR and now possibly also FulGaz infringements. I already have a few things noted for both BKOOL and Zwift, and I'm waiting for reports on the two latter platforms as I don't use them.
