Didn't think zwiftpower would have ETAs for each group, can't imagine they'd be that accurate this early on. You'd expect b to win on pure strength of numbers

First workout for a little while tonight. 3 sets of 8min over/under at my new FTP. I thought I’d be in a world of hurt on the final set but it was actually fine. I feel like I’m in a bit of a sweet spot at the moment and looking forward to the race on Monday.

Baby number two due in about 6 weeks so I know the wheels will come off soon

Nice to motor along with you Andy. Not sure what happened to you martin all good? Strange those hare and hound races aren’t they? Or maybe that just me. Didn’t really feel the same as a race. Not sure if I like them or not. Good workout though! And there always seems to be one guy piping up saying ‘let’s all work as a team’. But no one has any intention of waiting for anyone else! 😅. PDid you get caught out when we were overtaking c cat riders?

Good riding Tommy , you seemed to be at the pointy end of the group all way through . I lost touch after @ 28 km , we were swallowing up loads of C riders and I let a little gap open , ended up riding home at a slightly more comfortable pace with a group of 6 other Bs. I agree, doesn’t feel the same as a race but makes for a good workout . You can’t be far away from A now @Tommy .

TTT tonight was 2 laps of Tick Tock. Very flat but that means its just full on and flat out all the way.

Nothing much to report. We rode hard.......... and then we kept riding hard. I think that's about it?

Currently 87 out of 168 teams in Frappe class in 51.52. High point of the evening was beating the other WTRL team in Frappe class by 21 seconds for local bragging rights!

Even Strava wanted to make me feel good by telling me my Relative Effort score of 160 was MASSIVE!:boxing:

I don’t think I can make the W/kg A cat boundary in races that long. But it seems like maybe in races under 20 miles now I’m running close to it sometimes. I think it’s just fear of being gapped that keeps me at the front but in hindsight it was probably wasted energy.
I had a feeling that’s what happened to you. Good training for when we’re cutting through the other teams on Wednesday I guess!

Does anyone know why are some Tempus Fugit TT events 17.6kms whilst others are 16.1kms...?
Sorry, going to be boring and give the obvious (possibly correct?) answer.

17.6km is probably the actual length of the Tempus Fugit segment, but 16.1km is 10 miles, which is the classic length of a club TT (at least in the UK anyway) so I guess some rides are deliberately cutting the segment short to finish where they think it should end.

Currently 15 of us signed up for next Wednesday.

@Alongo currently a No because of possible hot weather and loft ventilation problems. @mjd1988 a No pending a Covid test. Either could change but assumed No for now.

No definite answer from @berty bassett or @Add

We can decide on final teams next week when the numbers are clear. C riders are thin on the ground this time, so we'll have to decide whether to stay with 4 teams and a maximum of 4 per team or to run with 3 teams. 4 teams should be ok, but we'll have to shuffle riders down and then we'll need decide on handicaps whether its 3 teams or 4.
