I'm getting really fed up with this from Zwift. I understand that software has bugs but all too often they will push out software that has glaring faults then sort it a few days later.
I'm getting tired of it to be honest. We have all seen the complaints about development speed, and there has been an improvement in that but they're just pushing stuff out the door that isn't ready!

Other platforms are available. You can have, robust development, or you can have rapid development, but you can't have robust rapid development! (*)

I'm with you @BurningLegs. Like you I work in IT and this is just plain shoddy. With the revenue they get each month they really should have QA teams testing releases rather than chucking it out for the 'community' to test. I get 'community' tested for free stuff but not paid for stuff.

But you can have testers and QA teams checking stuff, even in agile development you have peer challenge and checks.

I signed up to the WTRL website last Saturday so I can log in and check the results, but you can work your own and team times back from ZP.

If you tell me your team name I can check it on WTRL
We were ZSUNR - Red Giants. I think I've got the results now and looks like it was as simple as taking away our 13 minute wait from the ZP results so 39:02 :okay:

Good time.

We were 42.01........ although my sticky draft episode meant I came in 2.5 minutes behind them. I could have been a little closer but I was advised to back off when teams came past me so I wasn't drafting, which is what the rules say you have to do.

Anyhow, I mulled it all over for a little while last night and decided it was all too much fun. So, I sent a message to WTRL and they've confirmed I'm riding with them again next Thursday! :wahhey:

I have been worried about Zwift quite sometime. This famous software is start to be so full of different features and functions that i have wait when the whole software comes unstable. Many Zwifters seems to be thrilled when new update are released and what new that brings, new features doesn't help if it breaks something else.

It’s a bit of a faff doing it as you have to use bb code to get it into a nice format. I can share the raw bb code of my profile if you want to do something similar. Just let me know.

Thanks @IrishAl - my input is fairly basic so I managed it ta. Will ask for your code if I get more ambitious.

Now put in some Strava Links in my Zwiftpower Profile to IRL rides (In real life not Irish  ) and my May weigh-in. I think this is a good discipline to have on Zwift / ZP.

I suppose that's the issue when you become so popular, different people want completely different things. Do you try and be jack of all trades and potentially lose out on quality (and leave a market where other apps can focus on one thing each) or go after one thing in lots of detailsl and alienate a large base.

I personally don't want too much more gamification of zwift but I know some people really like that.

I think in general they walk the line well; but making sure it actually works when I login is the basic minimum

Exactly, people can be demanding and always want more and now when Zwift is grow up and expands these dimensions what it is now things might get out of hands. I like simple things too. I am gonna do 1 group ride today and see how it works, if it works well i might do another group ride.
