Don't really know yet.

Only skim read the website last night, so I don't know if it has to be committed names or a squad. All I saw last night was between 3 and 8 riders. If it was a squad, then as long as we had 3 riders on the night I'm guessing we'd be ok.

They do allocate you to a start pen based on the make up of your team (based on the Cats of the riders) although they do say they'll adjust your finishing place if you start in the wrong pen.

Need to read up on it a bit more. Also to understand how the team name thing works.

Any advice @bridgy @<Tommy> @berty bassett @bobinski ?

I just thought it looked good. Always enjoy watching the team time trials on the pro tour and thought it could be fun to have a go at a virtual one
I honestly wish I could help more but I just turned up ! Sure Paul will be along with more info. I don’t think it has to be the same people each time as their is talk of changing the team I was with. Only thing that mattered was getting 4 across the line - we were in a team of 8 that slowly got smaller , there are all sorts of tactics To play and I am sure if you enter a team you would enjoy it

Del, I can’t answer all your Q’s- the Zsun racing team is 80 plus people and they have a small group of “admin” that sort everything out. That said it can’t be that difficult.
The team can be mixed - so 3 B’s and the rest C’s.
I ride with Paul, Lee, Tommy and 3 others and they went bat out of hell from the start and so 2 and then I got dropped. One of our other teams rode steady from the start and then upped power and then upped power, so lots of room for different tactics. I am sure you can put a team or two together. If you have any questions I’ll see if I can get the answers.

we do need 3-4 fast ZP C’s for my team. But that would mean signing up to ZsunR as main team in ZP

I think you can flip flop your main team as you go along can't you?

Martin, you certainly can.

I think ZsunR would prefer a bit of commitment to race in the team colours so i think most people here would prefer not to for good reason, you already have your group here and so best to read the rules, make a CC team or two and take part as CC.

That's fair enough. I was just pointing out that it is possible. I am now in 3 teams. CC, my local bike club and British Masters although so far I've only raced for CC and never changed lead club.

I am not the gate keeper though 😀
it’s certainly not up to me. I am just saying peeps should bear in mind Zsun is first and foremost an online social group that wants to race together. It’s difficult to be social and share pre and post ride tales of glory and defeat across more than one team and , of course, different forum.

Me too but to be competitive we'd need quite a few of the B's plus @IrishAl and @peterob . I'd get dropped early but would be happy to empty the tank for as long as I can if needed but don't think I'd make the team
I think we could make up a reasonable team

Yes it would be more competitive with stronger riders but it would be good fun just being out there and giving it a go
