I take it you guys are still allowed to ride outside then? Some countries i think still have outside riding bans (Italy, Spain?) - thankfully we can still ride outside too.

Yes, as long a we keep the same social distancing as anywhere else. No restrictions on number of rides per day, time etc. like in some countries.

But I still have to work, so it is usually after 17.00 I'm able to go out. One day each week I work from home and can go for a ride at 16.05.
Stating next week however, I'll also have one weekday off (with pay) until May, June or July?

Happy birthday to you!

Does this mean you're leaving CC too?
He's left the CC team on ZP and joined Bob's ZSun team :okay:

It's a shame, but the world keeps turning and as I said yesterday, life's too short to sweat the small stuff. I think so long as we're all happy in how/where we ride then that's all that really matters.

For you readers out there, I recently read "Why We Sleep" by Matthew Walker. It was a very good read and it's message was, to me anyway, very powerful. It seems sleep is a very potent force for good in our bodies. Well worth a read - I've recommended it to my wife and my girls. The conclusion is below and indicates the scale of the claims it makes.

I've just finished another book which has also made me change some fundamental ways I behave, eating this time rather than sleeping. I highly recommend this one even though it is not really aimed at endurance athletes like what we is

Yes, I've already planned to drop off the children at my parents house in the morning and we all have breakfast together. Then they have to go to school (online) for the next couple of hours. Meanwhile I'll do a 2-3 hour spin around the island (Mors) and be back for lunch sometime early afternoon. HID got to work in the kindergarten all day as usual! ^_^

Is he the manager then?
No ... that was just me saying (very badly) that he'd joined the same team that Bob rides in

It's a shame the Zsun guys don't join some of the leagues as they have quite a few riders and I'm sure would be very competitive in these leagues :okay:

They'll be back, no one can resist the jocular fun we CCers have:crazy:

Am I leaving cc? No

Am I taking a step back? For sure.

I took a barrage of abuse, snide comments and completely unfounded accusations yesterday simply for saying I found it hard to listen to a weight doper talk about weight loss.
I was called a hypocrite and a liar amongst other things with nothing to back it up. And I mean that’s that really isn’t it?

Whorty interjected to say he had no problem with weight doping and that I should shut up. No one said a word on that apart from Bob so I don’t know what else to say about that really. And no whorty, I’m not looking to get drawn into it again...

Life is far too short fellas. I’m very lucky to have so many good people around me and to have met some great guys on here too who I’m sure I’ll stay in contact with. I’m very blessed in lots of ways.

I’m sure I’ll continue to be around. But nothing lasts forever Eh 😄👍

Happy birthday @Whorty .

Joined tomorrows race , plan , to keep elastic attached to @Norry1 , he always snaps it when we get to the first climb or tough bit 😂 .
Having said that I heard someone on a cycling podcast recently say , “ there is no elastic !” . 😱
Enjoying these races , will we change Cat’s from May 1st when new ZP starts ?

Tommy mate, you're taking it far too seriously. I never told you to shut up and it's very disingenuous to suggest otherwise. I was very careful to stipulate that my view was my view and others may think differently and that's completely fine. Feel free to have the final word if you want, but you really do need to go back through the posts and see that no one was attacking you - you was having a go at Milzy and the rest of us who joined the conversation were trying to deflect and take the heat off.

What Milzy did was a year ago probably, was a one off, and is water under the bridge. Let's just let bygones be bygones eh?

And to re-iterate, I do have no issue with weight doping because it's something I can't control, what others choose to do, so I don't get excited by it. For me, so long as people are riding in the category that is correct for the w/kg that they are producing, that's enough to give me a good race. It will fall apart for weight dopers in the real world, but in Zwift we can all be superstars :wahhey:
