I rode with Cameron Jeffers, and Mark Cavendish today, when I say rode, Cavendish shot by me up the Alpe with his 48 min ascent🤪
Reminds me of a couple of things.

Firstly, a quote saying that people say Cavendish is a crap climber. The answer was no, he's not. He's actually a better climber than 99% of guys on a bike. Unfortunately for him, all of the other 1% are in the pro peloton.

Secondly, I saw him going over the top of the Col de Soulor in the Tour. He was right at the back of the grupetto, out of the saddle and still climbing at a pace that I could only dream of!

Exactly, that is come clearly few time when i have watch Eurosport. Finnish commentator called Peter Selin is remind that few times that Cavendish is not good climber as a best pure professional climbers but he is better than most of us. Today Cavendish climb 4 times Alpe du Zwift, probably without issues at all.

In the Pro peleton
The difference in weight between the climbers and sprinters is less than 10kg and yet they are minutes even tens of minutes behind the climbers.

I take a bit of solace being a tad heavier whilst climbing
