Just received this from INEOS. They’re doing a series of group rides from 3PM on the 12th, and then a race between INEOS team members at 5PM.

It will work ok, but can sometime bring an echo so you might want to mute the microphone and use press to talk.

I’d recommend everyone gets earphone sets of some type. It sounds like a few of us are going to be using it. That’s a lot of background noise, fans etc. It’ll work a lot better if you have the speaker in your ear and the mic near your mouth.

I think most headphones come with mics these days don’t they. Maybe you have a set and don’t realise?

Guy currently 'winning' C race held 6.8 w/kg for 24 mins Me thinks he's gonna get DQ'd (or invited to ride with Ineos)

Seems they've let him keep his win in C despite .....

• Having dropped his weight from 80kg to 40kg
• Dropped height from 180cm to 165cm
• Recorded w/kg of 6.8 for 25 mins
• Rode away from all C riders, so no draft help, yet had a faster time than the winner in A cat who rode in a group with draft

At the end of the day it's not real .... but even so, quite farcical.
