i see 3R do a similar league and I think the first race of the series was only yesterday, maybe an option, events at different times also

https://www.zwiftpower.com/league.php?id=296

Just as an exercise in futility I looked up the winner of the first c race of that

This is their recent record. They've also won loads of b races.

And looks like Danish Zwift Riders are starting a new league on 6 April.

The feltet.dk ones have been exceptionally well organised. The previews the write ups etc and even the person in the chat who reminds everyone where the sprints are. That said always best to do a series that suits as many as us as possible because the best part was the snot rockets in green riding together.

I don't suppose anyone has an disc extractor tool for a Tacx Neo 1 that I could borrow do they? I have started to get the dreaded metallic knocking noise sometimes and so after doing a bit of research on it I ordered the disc extractor tool to open it up about a week ago from Garmin, but I have just had an email saying that the order is cancelled without explanation. So I'm worried now I might not be able to get one. If anyone has one they'd be willing to post to me and I could then post back - I would cover costs obviously - then I'd be really grateful....or if anyone has any other suggestions?

(Actually, not sure if a trip to the post office to send it would be deemed "essential" so if that puts anyone off doing this I totally understand)

Paul, you don't need to have the Tacx puller, any hub bearing puller for a vehicle should suffice. Measure the length of the stub away from the flywheel plate and the diameter of the bolts which hold the flywheel plate in place, then source a puller from Machine mart of auto factors

This is what you could use https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/cht240-universal-hub-puller/

Edit Actually the copies are cheaper and better suited :okay:

Thanks a lot Bob - I just looked on Ebay and have found someone selling 3D printed ones on there - no cheaper really than the official Garmin one, but as long as it works that's OK! I will probably order one of those - cheers for the tip!
Let us know if it does the job.

I may buy one if you can recommend it.

I'd vote for this, assuming the time works for enough of us here.

Also - perhaps a "normal" Cyclechat league running Tue/Thu via the meetup functionality for anyone who doesn't fancy the Monday series? In an ideal world I would enter both and do the Danish race on Monday then the CC race on a Thursday ^_^

Is there any appetite for handicap races?

Organised ones or bespoke CC ones?

Here's another league racing option. The Swedish Zwift Riders League

https://zwiftpower.com/league.php?id=293

It's a 10 race series and the second race is tonight. So, we've probably missed the first two but its the best 8 races that count so if we joined up and started next week, then we'll be ok.

Looks similar to feltet.dk with individual and team ratings.

There's a write up on the Zwift Racers Facebook page, which start off as follows:

'How many Swedes can you beat? Welcome to the new series called “Swedish Zwift Racing Cup” & “Swedish Zwift Racing Cup Women”, with a great chance for good ranking in all categories and a lot of fun racing. All races will be streamed live (commentary in Swedish) on “Swedish Zwift Riders” youtube channel! Now we want international competition in all categories (A to D)"

Well "How many Swedes can you beat?" surely sounds like a challenge to @LBHIFI and @Brusgaard

What do we all think?
From next week I'd be up for that :okay:

Interesting looking at their results so far in C. No monster big guys pushing out watts that you'd normally only see towards the front of a B race  Chap who won last week pushed an average of 260 watts and weighs a normal 82 kg. No one in their league average over 300 watts (chap in 9th averaged 294).

That sounds good to me. And happy to have some sort of handicap race in there for the meetup.

Probably the latter is my preference although I’ll go with the flow. It could be individual handicaps or band together in groups of (3,4,5 etc?) of people with similar times.

I’d be up for joining other races too. Not sure I want to commit to a league but that may change next week. Or even tomorrow!

All of us who've been in the league have really enjoyed the racing, especially when you see the other CC riders around you. Those of us in C cat certainly felt that way, and @Norry1 said the same about B cat last night.

I'd have to admit that sense of teamwork and togetherness is a little less strong when you're being dragged round at the back of the group on a Crit Course and you're hanging on for dear life, but hey things can only get better? :becool:

I'd be interested in a handicap race on Thursday, but even though I'm currently working from home, it would still have to be 6:30pm or later (and the later the better).
