Two episodes into the Movistar doc on Netflix. Trying to pace it out to make it last a few days...

No spoilers promise!

Will just say so far it’s very good. I already liked all the main protagonists before watching to be honest. All of them had great moments of heart in the last. But you can see it’s a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. The ego’s are there and are being tested! In fact each episode so far has ended to the sound of a ticking clock. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence but it’s very apt 😄

I watched the 1st one yesterday, will watch number 2 tomorrow ... same as you, stretching them out so I have something to look forward to :okay:

Luckily Rach likes the cycling too, and knows as much about these teams/riders as me, so I'm not inflicting it on her

I watch two episodes in yesterday too. Episodes aren't very long, all those six episodes are from 22min to 39min but what can we expect. I felt that those episodes what i watch so far there was more tension in a sports directors car than with a cyclist ^_^

I reckon there’s a load of them around the world just tucked away in cupboards. The missus was badgering me for Christmas present ideas and I couldn’t think of anything. Bit of a waste really...Lovely kit aren’t they. Maybe you should try doing a bit of filming too in these post apocalyptic like time.
I love my GoPro. A bit like you Tommy, My wife got me one for a Christmas present and at the time I smiled and thought oh that’s an expensive ornament But I use it every spin now. I do short videos of our club rides which the boys enjoy and handy for catching those close passes and road rage incidents - I just hope it never catches the moment I do get hit.🤞

As well as cycling it’s great for documenting holidays and Hikes.

here is a shortish one from my commute - nothing too interesting just shows how awful some cycle lanes / infrastructure really is. I normally use the road but you can sometimes feel the pressure to use the crap Shared cycle path.

I thought I would bore you with my home movies saying as you’ve all got nothing better to be at!

Just signed up for the 14:25 ToW Whole Lotta Larva race. It's on of my missing routes for a badge, so that's nice  I'm planning an easy ride .... but I'll see how that pans out once the flag drops
Let your power speak. When you vanished to horizon other riders yell behind you don't forget the write.

Ive done a GoPro or two of rides. They are only good for descents or speedy rides. Bit boring and wobbly riding up a long climbs

👍👍

I’ll definitely bore you both with some questions once I’m up and running. mostly editing related I suspect. I know if you use a Garmin computer you can use it to show power and speed metrics but I don’t think you can with wahoo?
My unit is completely flat and I couldn’t find the charge cable (annoyingly different from every other charge cable I own..). So I’ve had to order one from amazon.

I’ve fitted the GoPro to the top of one my helmets. I’m sure it won’t be as smooth as fitting it to the bars but I want to film as much of my surroundings as I can.

I’m a chain, a cassette and some glue for my back tyre away from a finished bike. I swapped out the praxis chainrings first some carbon ones. Time will tell how durable they are! 🤞

Current weight without those three items is 5.66kg. I’m not sure it’s going to slip under 6kg but again, 🤞🤞🤞!

Saintfield road! Terrifying and yet one of the better ones in Belfast . I particularly like the downhill stretch past forestside where you can sprint alongside traffic
