Check the chainring for a bent or misaligned tooth or have you changed the chain recently, it could be too long?
I had the chain changed about 12 months ago after I shaped the last one. I was wondering if it might be a bit worn and stretched. Not checked the rings .. I'll have a gander tomorrow :okay:

Training ride on Watopia 8 tonight. 2 laps but I bailed at end of the 1st. The thing that must not be named was very sore and just would not track straight so stopped to protect it. Still, PB on kom and in reverse suggest training having an impact .

I decided to try and let todaysplan make me a 6 week plan. The plan pops up in Zwift workouts, so it's just like the Zwift academy workouts.
Todays VO2 was pretty tough :heat:

Damn, I supposed it was expected:

"During Zwift Academy you have had complimentary access to all the premium features in Today’s Plan. This complimentary premium service will finish up this weekend when the 6-week Zwift Academy training program comes to an end."

So I'm going to act as a ginipic and see if the 6 week program will do anything for me.

W8 done. That 3min give it all you can was a disaster because I shifted into wrong gear at start and was spinning too fast and so became breathless with the effort too quickly and then dropped down to recover. Such a simple thing to get wrong in the panic of getting it right. Never mind. It’s done and just the dreaded W7 to do tomorrow

Average of 328w!

Time Paul trotted round to see Monte on his new Neo?

Monte given you're slightly under the weather let Paul borrow the Neo

Yes there is no doubt he was working flat out, I even think things are beginning to settle with Carl and Paul's rides. Didn't Zwift say it took several rides to build a profile to sort the trainer out? If that is true then Paul's effort is something special and worthy of Cat A:notworthy:. In fact if you look at his rides on bkool, no one could argue he is one of the strongest riders on there.:okay:

Yeah, bloody strong effort and rider.
Zwift say that bkool have their own fec profile they won’t share with them so no way to change the profile over time. It is what it is. There’s a lot of anecdotal evidence on the impact of moving from a Bkool Pro to a kickr etc and we know what it says. But a 30-80 watts drop still puts Paul in Cat A I think. Is he on zwiftpower?

Hello :hello:

Thanks guys - yeah that was a full-on effort whatever the watts are! And I do know they're probably wrong and over-stated because of the bkool - but not as much as on bsim I don't think.

Zwift does feel very different to bkool. Less spinning, and generallly more resistance I think.

Good idea to try Monte's Neo, I will try and do that soon. My main concern is that I'll end up wanting to buy one....!

Is zwift Power the only place to see results? I thought I saw someone link to results from zwift themselves as well?
