Out of interest Whorty how long did it take you ?
2 hours (excluding the 5 mins i buggered about with the chain etc). Probably 8 hours then if I go for the 90 miles DD

Rode 30 miles tonight, with 3000ft of climbing. Chain came off at one point when climbing the big hill, took me a few mins to get it back on, then had to go for a 'p' and grab a drink. Bit of a pain, but enjoyed the rest. Just need to do that 2.5 more times and that's the DD done :heat:

You on Strava Whorty? If not join and use the free version and then link Zwift with Strava. It will be easier for us to see your rides and compare.

Yes, on Strava. Auto loads Strava to bkool too. Connected to Strava via Facebook so user name should be Carl Whorton :okay:

To join an event use the zwift mobile app
Open up the app and you will see events near the bottom, open the events tab and a list of events will come up scroll till you come to Saturday and the dolomites event is at 9.30, you will see how many people are attending including those on you "friends" list, press the +button and that's it.
On the day start up zwift, On the bottom left hand side of the screen you should see the Join Event button click on that and your taken to the start you can warm up at the start line.if your peddling when the timer goes to zero dont worry you will move off unlike in bkool.
No need to change name for this event.
If your "friends" are close by you will see a little person symbol by there name on the riders near by panel and the w/kg there doing and how far ahead or behind they are.
Think that's it if I've missed anything im sure andy or bob will tell you

Edit: you automatically do the route so no need to change direction

No idea whether I can manage this or not....once up the Zwift mountain is usually enough for me. But it would be daft not to have a try. Anyhow, appreciate the instruction on how to join; had no idea how to do it.

Blimey, Deans' back going trying to keep up with the Pole's, Andy limping. What a load of crocks!
Have i told you about me knee?

I will do the ride. Have stayed off the bike to try and recover from whatever strange thing has left me wheezing with a sore throat, headaches. Feel like one of you old crocks^_^

I reckon its a good 2000 calorie ride so have fluids and a bit of food to hand.

For some races you do need to add some bits to your name.

My plan for tomorrow 'sportive' is ride along 180W-200W drafting, well there is nearly 700 taking part:tongue: then ride tempo/sweetspot up the climbs, for me is 250-275Watts. You lightweights will have less watts but move a fair bit quicker up the climbs:angry:

See you at 9.15ish  with banana and flapjacks, 2 litres of fluid

I wouldn't get your hopes up, I'm pretty sure Zwift typically breaks at about 200 riders in one module so set your expectations accordingly

I would Log onto zwift early, certainly by 9 just to reduce the risks of not being able to nearer the time. Fingers crossed it all holds together.
