I've been thinking about doing one, there's a Duathlon type of event on Zwift this weekend so might give it a go, there's also a event at a race circuit in Leicestershire in March not sure if I'm going to sign up for it.
A Zwift one? That would be good training before your first real one - shame I don't have a treadmill or I'd be up for that.

The one I'm looking at is also at a race circuite (Castle Combe) - if I'm brave enough to give it a go I'll let you know how it goes!

Bloody hell TdZ S7 Its on the rivet within seconds of the flat out start. Not doing that again. The hills are just too long long for me to keep power on

@46.48

Top 5% for Clydesdale weight category 145/3296 Extremely pleased with that:dance:

Well done Andy although on Strava your intensity say 81 so you couldn't of gone to hard.
:tongue:

The one I've been looking at is Mallory Racing Circuit, all you need for running on Zwift is a foot pod and a phone, which then you can use at the gym.

I've been doing bike then run just for extra cardio did Richmond bike stage then TRIED to do run stage for TDZ but legs felt like lumps of concrete :laugh:, need to do run then bike really.

Yeah ideally you would need a treadmill at home so you could go straight to bike, all you need for running on Zwift is a foot pod which then you can use at the gym.

I have a footpod which I do use at the gym on the treadmill so that I can keep a track of distance run on Strava. I guess I could run Zwift on my phone at the gym but I can't really be bothered to do that (although I would if I had a treadmill at home)

I've read that going from running to bike is not too bad - the much harder transition is from bike to running and that's the one to really train for so you're practicing it the right way round! I've never done either and the event is in 2 weeks so I'm prepared for a very nasty shock to the system!

That puts a nice target on your back :gun:

Do I attempt this tonight at 6 (assuming I can get away fro work and get wife sorted out in time) or do I do a workout tonight, tire the legs, but have a go at the stage tomorrow evening? :tongue:

46 mins doesn't seem too bad for a full out effort :whistle:
