Best of luck tonight chaps. I mean that too!

It’s been brilliant fun for me this month. Hopefully next month if we all co ordinate better we could have 20 odd riders in a live race. It would be brilliant to all ride together.
Agreed - there will always be situations where people can't make the main races on Tuesday and Thursday and its good to be able to catch up at other times, sometimes with others - but you can't beat a big turnout on a live race with lots of post-race analysis! Try and keep either Tuesday at7pm or Thursday at 6pm free if you can guys! As winter sets in we should have some really good numbers hopefully

Here's the early table Al, following last night's rides. So you can see how easy you can take it

If I've missed anyone's time, please let me know!

So by my reckoning I need to complete in under 56:04 based on the times on the board to date...so if I mark bridgy tonight assuming he doesn’t take it easy then I should be ok based on his previous effort. But then he is in virtual yellow so doesn’t have to set the world alight and could lull me into a false pretence.

I think I’ll just have to set my own tempo and hope that is good enough. The longer climbs aren’t my friend.

Times to watch...
Approx 38:50 to the top for Bridgy, 31:44 to the turn for the radio tower
and approx 38:10 for Tommy, 31:30 to the turn.

You can tell I’m getting nervous :boxing:

That's the Week 3 route - Road to ruins, right?

I don't have a time on that course so I'm up for riding it with you tomorrow night, assuming that you don't fancy the mountain for third time in seven days?!

I won't catch you in the league, and riding it together would be more sociable and presumably give us a quicker time...
I'm 50/50 racing tomorrow at the moment as legs a bit tired. I may do a pootle tomorrow and race Friday instead. If legs are OK tomorrow that may change ^_^ Be warned though, with the new gravel sections, that Road to Ruins course is a bruiser - pure watts seems to have a bigger influence than w/kg!

Long pootle again Saturday as can't ride Sunday, Monday or Tuesday this coming week.

Yes, I did a group ride Sunday on the Jungle Circuit, which is around 99.9% on gravel, with me on the Tron bike.

It was actually quite a lot harder than expected! It was advertised as 46km, but thankfully it turned out to be only around 30km for some reason!

It took 1h5m at 2.5w/kg avg.

Is there a meet up tomorrow? Nursing stiff back, after digging out 15 yard 2ft deep trench, by spade

Not use to proper manual labour:laugh:
Yes there is - your are showing as pending on my invite list so you should have had an invite. If not, let me know and I'll try deleting and re-inviting you which normally works. 6pm start tomorrow.

Andy I am hoping to ride tomorrow if I can get back from work in time. Really keen to ride with or have to chase down someone -it makes all the difference.

Im struggling with my back from yesterday and today, feels like on the edge of spasm into locking up, long bath tonight.

I wont be direct competition tomorrow plan is to hold a certain HR to see if I can hold it for the climb
