Does anyone know if it is possible to only see members of the meet-up in the bar on the right of the Zwift screen and also in Zwift Companion?

Something I find hard is knowing where other members of the meet-up are because of all the noise of other riders?! It’s good that they show as green dots on the map, but I’d prefer to see them on the board so I can see/watch gaps and know who is ahead/behind rather than guess?
Not that I know of, and I agree it's annoying - another limitation of the rather bodged way we have to set up our own races currently. I was only 30 seconds or so behind Alan for the whole of last night's race (I think!) but rarely saw him at all on the leaderboard after the first few minutes because there were so many riders on course in between us - every now and again I would catch a glimpse of him! And I never saw what was going on behind me at all. If you or anyone else does find a way around this I'd be keen to know about it!

Did you join the A or B group. The ' A' pack are crazy fast up hills

B group. Bad enough! ^_^

I love that format bur as a C rider I manage to hold on ok with my group until the As and Bs catch us and the C group gets blown apart. I've joined B a few times, and the longest I've held on so far is 12 mins.

Was it on the London course? I find that if you can make it over the top of the climb up Northumberland Ave then you can sit in until the climb to Green Park each loop. It's the little lumps though that blow the groups apart! It does depend though on if you group is actively trying to stay together, or if there is a race within a race. C cats (generally) try to stay together as they have worked out a group of 20 travels faster than smaller groups.

I think everyone makes the right noises but does anyone really try and wait for the stragglers? None of the traitors in my group did anyway! 😄

It was better the week before to be fair wasn’t it. What with less people on the course. Would be lovely if they could iron out some of this stuff though. Maybe we should make a concerted effort to badger zwift about the little improvements they could make.

Zwift Companion just had a new update.
- New meetup feature!. There is now an option available for cycling meetups that will help keep everyone in the meetup together when you ride.
So be careful when you do meetup races. If all of you have a same time then it something do with that feature ^_^

Haven't had that update yet - it had better be an option and not compulsory or that's it, I'm going back to Bkool!!

I'm currently on Zwift and BRVR. If Bkool is as even as @Brusgaard says, and I can whoop @Bored Man 's as and he isn't getting Bkool fairy dust, then I could be tempted to switch BRVR for Bkool for weekly races 👍 Keeping Zwift though as I do enjoy the larger races/rides and the pure variety of their races. I'll be a sheep .... and go with the crowd.

Something to make you have doubts

BTW He likes it so far

It’s not for me TB. I did weigh up whether I’d prefer the wahoo but it wasn’t a long conversation with myself. I got a little deal on the Tacx too so the price difference was quite stark.

I guess people will like the look of one over the other. And some people will always prefer bike on turbo. So it’s just take your pick basically! One thing that looks better on the wahoo bike is the shifters which are more like typical bike shifters. The ones on my bike are fine but not perfect. I prefer the front end of the Tacx bike generally though. It’s got a little screen that displays power, cadence, gear selection etc. Which is a must really. I think on the wahoo it’s kind of below the cross bar so it’s not easy to view and with less info on offer. Also the Tacx has a nice iPad mount. USB chargers and a little tray for your phone etc in front of you. It’s not very pretty looking but I really like the function of it.

Personally I have no interest in the climb feature but if I did that would definitely be another reason to choose the wahoo. Bottom line, fingers crossed they’re both reliable!
