@peterob I finally got round to riding Stage 5 of the ToW.

30.06 for me.

Came 19th out of 52 on the road, 11th out of 20 on ZP.

I was in the lead group until the turn but just couldn't hold the pace after the turn. Still finished in the 2nd group so still happy with that.

What are you doing racing the day before ToC?!? Crazy man Seems you might need a wheel to suck too tomorrow .... @theboxers is going to have a train behind him at this rate

I'm not doing ToC.

I've got a long standing family BBQ today so it was never an option.

I'll have to wait a while before I meet up with any of you guys in real life.

Anyone interested in the Tour of the Surrey Hills in August. It's an Audax ride but effectively a local sportive. It's cheap to enter and takes in all the big Surrey climbs, including the b**tard that is Barhatch Lane! I should probably have posted that in the Meet Ups thread.

Well I am glad Roglic beat Landa by more than 23 seconds and do the 10 second penalty did not push him, Roglic, off of the podium. That would have sucked.
Folk say he should have palmed them off.
I say looking forwards and concentrating on the wheels in front was the correct thing to do.

Looking at it my resting heart rate is about 10 bpm higher, again, than normal today. I would sort of expect it yesterday all things considered. But it shows I'm not right today, again
