Im currently trying the Selle super flow in L3(145mm). Its wide and curved at the back, long narrow at the front. Huge central cutout
Fizik categorize their saddle with 3 different spine types, bull, chameleon and snake. Bull is stiffest spine and snake is for flexible spine and chameleon is something in between. Bull is curved and snake is flat saddle. I have read lot of good reviews about Selle Super Flow, hope it fits perfectly. I hope my Arione last longer than my first one many years ago. That body didn't last my weight then so it cut off from the middle, this new one look very solid.

Halfords have ordered me a new NEO2 - should be ready to collect Monday. Excellent service. Thankfully still feeling rough so not missed it the last 2 days  May have a little spin on the Kickr later if chest not feeling too gunky.
Are they or tacx gonna give you any kind of information later what was the source of that noise?.

Great news. I've never had any issues with Halfords but they don't seem to have a great reputation for customer service.

Unlikely. I don't think it's Halfords way. They will just return the unit to Tacx to deal with. Tacx have gone completely quiet on me (unlike the trainer) and have failed to respond to my 3 chase emails. Must say, their customer service is a bit pants. Glad I bought from Halfords and not direct with Tacx!

That's what I read on line too, but as I said to HID earlier I've always had a really good service off the guys at the Frome branch. Could be unique to them, or just snobbery of people who only use 'real' bike shops and refuse to use a chain company like Halfords. I bought my Boardman off them back in 2015 and they threw in 3 years servicing which I used every year and was good. Also meant if I ever bought anything off them they would fit it to the bike for free - this included fixing punctures

TBF though there is a LBS nearby who is a Genesis reseller and I take my Flyer there and they are also great but more expensive.

They may have an arrangement with Tacx to replace in this type of situation.

Halfords are a chain and so experience will vary from shop to shop. Mine is pants. My local lbs has proved to be little better. Cadence have always been great. Just overwhelmed and so a long wait

Never used Halfords before for bikes so can't compare. Could just be lucky with Frome. May be an exception rather than the rule ^_^ Always found Deen's in Beckenham friendly and reliable. Never had a problem with Cycle Surgery in town either or Evans either, although it looks like the branch I used to go to just off Southwark Bridge on Lower Thames is no longer there.

If dodgy saddles, broken turbos, painful undercarriages, excess phlegm or glorious sunshine isn't keeping you off the trainer, you may be interested in the times posted for Stage 7 of the TdW league that you'll be looking to better......

Some decent early results already in for the stage, with Lars setting the early pace. Well Done! Personally, I'm finding it hard to find the enthusiasm for an alpine slog on the turbo when the sun is shining outside!!

Well that's not a bit depressing - the worst time so far for Stage 7 is not far off my best time for just the Alpe, i.e. not including the bit via the Volcano, the Epic and the Jungle to actually get to the bottom of the mountain!

This gives you power  If you post a slow time, all those who don't do that stage get your time  This was always my motivation to complete every stage in the old Bkool days when I was always (and I mean always) last in the leagues. TB, Rob, Perky, Randy et al always used to leave me for dead when I first joined back in 2015. Bur having that little bit of power, the power to make others have my slow time, was always nice to keep in the back pocket

Good point.

So everyone - you've been warned. If you don't take part in Stage 7, then you'll probably be getting my 2hrs 20mins (ish) time, so you'd better get riding if you want something better!
