42:28 for me on ToW Stage 1, Had to fit it in today, as the days there is a 19:00 start I can't do, and I can't do a 18:00 start either

I think when I did mine I should have eased off on the cadence a little after 260w. Up until then I could maintain 95rpm, it was hard but not impossible. 95@ 280w went off a cliff. The legs seemed to have it in them, but the lungs wouldn't work fast enough to supply the oxygen. Next time, yes there will be a next time, I'll try dropping to 90 or even 85 to see how I do.I did the Ramp FTP Test yesterday and got 266W which I was amazed at. I did it 3 weeks ago and was disappointed with 248W. I can only assume that concentrating on getting my gluten firing is making the difference!
Feeling good, I went round and did a PB up Box Hill as well. Maybe it was just one of those days. Have to see if I replicate this in a longer race.
