Still looking great - have you changed anything on it since last year's TOC?It’s taken me over a week to build it back up since I got it back from the paint shop as I’ve been doing it one component at a time basically. But now it’s ready for Cambridge and looking great, even if I’m going to be a big puddle on the floor!

It’s good that you start flicking thru the channels and plump for one of his programmes thinking maybe I can watch this , then end up you can’t take eyes of what he’s up toThey repeated one of his series’ a couple of years back during the day and it became compulsive viewing when I was working from home. It was him going back over old projects he’d done and talking about the industrial revolution at the same time.
I your point Andy about the north south divide. But I’d go a little further and say the reason he isn’t celebrated more around the country is a reflection of how little balue we put into engineering in general in this country.

Thanks for the invite Paul, I'm going to struggle (again) to make it this week.Just set up Thursday's race - decided to go for the Surrey Hills course to fulfill the requests for something hilly and over an hour (only London or Watopia are options for Thursday so we can do the Innsbruck course another time).
I reckon we should follow this with a flat TT course the following week
