decided to take the plunge and get a different back disc brake on a cannondale synapse and maybe using that as the tourer
i am going for TRP spyre but they do 2 different sorts
a flat mount and a post mount - it looks like i want the flat mount but just wondered if you would know
sorry it sound like a stupid question

Hi Lee

Rears are usually flat mount but not always. Take a photo. The best mechanical are the Hydro-combo brakes. The link has a pictures and the first one is post mount. You can use flat mount on post with an adaptor plate https://road.cc/content/review/85499-trp-hyrd-mechanical-interface-hydraulic-disc-brakes

whorty - get a neo ! the amount you use a turbo justifies it
i am more than pleased with mine

Agreed. I’d prob get the 1 over the 2 as well. Just because of the price vs difference I think favours the 1. If you’ve got the budget to get the neo bike then maybe put the rest of the money into a new bike at some point if you fancy one.

Kickr is working again this morning, now it's cooled down. So at least I have a bit of procrastination time. HID said I should buy the NEO and who am I to argue. Need to call up Halfords to see what they have in stock and see if they will install the cassette off the Kickr for me.

This week away isn't doing Me any good , 8 pints of Golden Hen last night and a plate full of pancakes with lemon juice and strawberry jam , and can not get out for a walk as it's peeing it down
Always good to have a 'free' day every now and then. So long as you enjoyed it, that's what counts most :okay:

Just managed a quick walk to Tesco for 6 bottles of Hobgoblin and an Easter egg^_^

Oh dear, I've only gone and done it !!!!! Neo 2 click and collect from Halfords  That's a big dent in my bank balance this month .... Looks like it's back down the docks to earn some extra cash :B)
What did you pay?

Did you get any extra discount on top of the BC discount?
