Have you opened a ticket with zwift support? they are usually pretty good (although you usually get a first generic response assuming you are thick asking if you have turned your laptop on or accidentally dipped it in marmalade)
I don't think they'll be able to help here.

I think the .fit file is only stored locally on the MacBook or other device.

I'm assuming from your reply that you found the .fit file for today? Just to confirm, the file name include the date and time and will look something like 2019-03-04-18-30-45.fit.

If that's what you tried to upload to Strava, and Strava said the file was malformed or corrupted, then the only choice you have is to follow @CXRAndy 's advice and try to repair it using on the the .fit file repair tools you can see if you follow the link he provided.

You'll obviously need a tool that you can run on a Mac or via a Mac browser. I see that the 4th link down is an article on DCRainmaker's website. Might be worth taking a look at that.

Yeah that’s what happened Del. Something that’s odd is that there are 5-6 fit files available from today. One from the warm up ride I did, one from the ride up the alpe. And I guess the others are from me re starting the app a few times after the crash. What’s odd is all the fit files apart from the one from the warm up ride are seemingly damaged. Or to use their language ‘maligned’.

I was averaging 1.5-1.7 on the second half of the climb, 200w +/- 10w. The last 2 or 3 corners were a little lower. Even with my gearing I'm down to 60-70 cadence which is quite sressful on the legs. It was a case of bedding in for the long haul no matter how long it took.

I'll be continuing the workouts and hopefully the weight loss so the w/kg will go up a lot, even if the ftp only goes up a little. The aim is getting fitness for the ToC, then more weight loss for the rest of the year.
Great work :okay:
