"Download AutoHotKey (if script asks you to download legacy v1 just say yes) and create a new script with the following in it. This uses the "0" numpad key to swap to the Gravel bike, and the numpad "." key to swap back to my Tron. You will need to adjust the number of Loops based on how many times you need to press down to select your chosen bike. If you are planning on lowering the time used to come to a dead stop, you'll need to reduce the first Sleep from 5500 to one of your test."

I'll download autohotkey and play with this. I need all the help I^_^ can get

Should probably put in a disclaimer that I assume this doesn't brick your laptop!

I think play controllers make a bike swap bit faster as well than normal method when you have to wait that bike slows down enough. You can brake the bike with controllers which make at least in a theory bike swap bit faster.

Corsair K70 Mechanical Keyboard ... Have macros that change from Tron to gravel, and gravel to Tron ... Fastest I think I managed was about 4.5 seconds ... But then I wasn't travelling all that fast to start with, so less slowing down time

Great effort Alex, you'll have to watch out for the saw-toothing in FRR :okay:

I've come to the conclusion that the sawtoothing is either my trainer, hysteresis of trying to maintain position in a group or the fact that I was right on the limit. Or some combination of all three. It does happen regularly though when I race and also in Pace Partner groups.

I think the fact that the cadence doesn't ever go below 60 would likely mitigate it (it's not sprint and coast), but to be honest I'm not that likely to do FRR anyway at the moment. (Not very big on mass start events or enforced bike choices).

Definitely. If you look at the chart I posted above, it has my W'Bal on. https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/zwift-bkool-splitter-chat.215190/page-3989#post-7092443

notice I never really got much opportunity to recharge.

Why does the panel think it should be any different from any other flat route, of which there are loads on Zwift? Is it just because there are big fields (because it's a new course) and everyone's going hell-for-leather because it's a short race?

FWIW you’re not the only ones to think so!

EDIT - took down a snip from WhatsApp because I don't want to plaster people's mobile numbers over the internet, and I'm not sure I can be arsed to redact just the numbers from the image...

Yeah it absolutely isn't a "special" route. It's just a balls-out race. Probably the shortish length too

Also quite amusing that it's a "warning". Sounds rather sandbaggy

Did my first Structured workout for quite a while today and it was quite a shock to the system. My FTP has dropped significantly since my August peak - but that is expected and indeed healthy.

My weight is also dropping, hopefully not too far. I came in at 69.2kg this morning and now lowered my Zwift weight to 70kg.
