amazingly got my first 50 miler in of the year (54.7), had only popped out for 10 or 20 due to not feeling too good after too many beers last night. But when I got underway I was fine, the miles came easy.
Day was rather uninspiring - roads were dry, skies were grey, probably 5 or 6° above
here's Ladykirk church, a favourite of mine with its stone roof
and then a few hours later it got dark,
Seen quite a few barn owls which is always a special moment for me - camera doesn't pick them up
(YTD 691 miles / Day 33 x 365 = 7643 - 6500 target / 365 x 33 = 103 mile lead)
