First 70 miler today. Stopped at Wells for a very healthy burger, then shared some prawns, then had to do the fresh hot doughnut thing.
all the way until the last 10 miles. I have a bag of candyfloss waiting for me

I ride with 3 different local clubs and really enjoy it, I don't enjoy cycling alone too often.

Thanks will have a good luck next weekend I'm still trying to get my back pain under control again it's agony after mile 20. That's a good commute every day there are some nice routes too and from.

I live in Holbrooks so my commute is only 6.5 miles each way, though I could extend it.

My ride yesterday was cut short as a precaution, so made up a wee bit for it today. I cycled 11miles to meet some mates, took it easy after yesterday, too easy, and had to TT the last couple of miles. We then cycled 45miles or so stopping at a cafe halfway. A couple of us then went on for another wee loop 15 or so miles as it was so nice and given it was so nice I went for a wee bit more

44 miles today on my Dawes Galaxy because the Bianchi is in the pit stop getting a new shifter.

I headed out towards ditchling common to meet with a friend and had lunch, then came back through the villages of poynings and fulking and steyning. The re was a brisk head wind all the way out and a cross wind on the way back with a bit of a tail wind in places.

The villages here are really nice (mega bucks though) basically anywhere north of the south downs is nice and anything south of the downs is mostly busy urban mess.

I could really feel the weight of the galaxy compared to the bianchi but it was a pleasure to ride it again.
