35 miles with some coast thrown in + got lost a couple of times

The decent on the other side is what gets me up to,I think I have a great place to rideMy way of getting up hills is to think that there is always a nice fast downhill descent on the other side, once you have got up the wretched hill!!
Very jealous of you living in Cumbria!! My favourite part of the UK and you definately can't avoid hills up there!

I suppose hill climbing makes us a stronger riderPeople tell me Essex isn't hilly, I can only assume its a different Essex
Of course it's nothing like Yorkshire etc, but it defintely isn't flat
