Eggs in the next few days I expect.

I was right. The first one appeared about an hour ago. There may be more but she hasn’t left the nest since.

Two badgers early this morning, didn't even stop to exchange pleasantries! The one on the right (fully sighted) just hurried past the one-eyed badger. We rarely see two at a time, but quite often two at different times overnight. At least two different foxes also showed up overnight.

My parents have a similar camera and reported a fox wandering through the garden last night with a complete egg cartoon in its mouth.

If anyone in York is wondering where their early morning egg delivery went, it wasn't "those bl**dy kids"; it was a fox...

Heard some Terns off Brora beach didnt see them though. Cant mistake their call as its distinctive and as one bird id book put it " it sounds squeaky like amalgam being put into a filling at the dentist" !
