Your choice - Lighthouse or Windmill?

So if you had the choice of living in a working Lighthouse or a working windmill , what would you choose and where would it be ?

My choice would be the Lighthouse on the end of Portland Bill

one of these.

First choice would be Faro di Monte San Bartolo, but several other good ones on there. It's in the middle of a Parco Naturale. You could have an interesting cycle to work everyday.

Windmill for me.
At least you'd get a decent nights sleep when it's foggy.
Once stayed in a hotel on the Lizard, about 1/4 mile from the lighthouse. We thought the rates very reasonable and found out why.
It was great, until about 2am - when suddenly - BAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPP!! Repeated every couple of minutes for hours on end.

I wouldn't mind a converted watertower. You don't get many lighthouses or windmills in town.

Anglesey's the only place I've ever seen a chipshop "closed for lunch". This was at lunchtime just to be clear. Very odd place

I have had that experience in that hotel.

We didn't see the funny side of it at the time. We were walking the SW Coastal Path and arrived there very tired after a long day back packing. My missus is the devil incarnate if her sleep is interrupted. You can imagine what the following day was like.
