I think when it was built and the line was named there were plans for the line to reach as far as the middle of Kent. As things turned out didn't get far into Kent. In fact, using current boundaries it never escapes London, so the "Not Quite Kent Line" would be a better name.

It's worth rooting around to find their offers.
@wafter mentioned last year that they were selling the classic frame plus fork for £343. From buying that I got a £50 voucher off components.
