Manea (the train is the one that took me to Ely from Ipswich and is on the return leg from Peterborough)

March - didn't get the timing right for the EMR train that sped through shortly afterwards

And the slightly less impressive Portakabin at Whittlesea, although the gates are still manually operated

Heighington, Bishop Auckland bound (down) platform.

The old signal box behind the shelter is looking a bit careworn and quite a few similar ones (crossing control) have been replaced with automated barriers in the North East. This one hangs on though, I suspect due to (I'm assuming) controlling movements onto the main line from the Hitachi factory nearby (different view from the previous weeks ride on the Bear Valley).
