Dragged the old folder out for a return trip from car MOT. Fellow is now down a nearby farm track. Realised I had planted this 100 tree row in 1995. Prunus avium. Will be spectacular in a couple of months. Glad I didn’t have far to go. That saddle! Must be the same age as the trees, in fact. But look at today’s sky!

liked but considered the "sad" yellowchap - makes me feel ancient - it's so damn big.

Where is this ?
You've ridden past it on the way to Overstone Church!
It's on the right about 100 yards from the main road heading towards the church and old mansion that's being turned into apartments.
I've cleared the ivy and weeds away a bit.

Not an interesting tree but a good strong tree all the same... it's not so often that my daughter's bike gets pictured with mine. This thread is the best place I could find.... after this, back to more interesting trees!
