Not sure you mean by "arguement". I am not arguing with anyone. That is just my belief but I am not trying to impose it on any body else.
It was not alluding to you 'arguing' about anything, Dave.
It's a formal logical fallacy called ' The Argument from Incredulity'.
Google is your friend. ;)

Obviously an Aubergine
As ordained deacon of this parish, I've been reading this thread with interest and a small smile (I don't know why).

Anyway, to show that Christians can have a sense of humour, I though you might enjoy this cartoon. ^_^

As you were . . . View attachment 612889

 An oldie but a goodie :okay:

Could the smile be down to a slight sense of superiority. ??

Or have you just shared some nice cake

No, not that, though rereading my post I can see that it does seem a bit patronising, which wasn't my intention - soz.

No, I think just smiling that matters of faith and religion can spark so much interest and debate, which is so healthy. It's when people stop caring that I start to worry.

Only half joking anyhow.

I am an adherant to and even teacher of a certain branch of non-religious, physical, mental, and spiritual practice, so I'm more than happy for folks to keep in touch with that side of things. :okay:

Personally I'm not a big fan of organised religions where beliefs are prescribed, and peoples lives controlled through fear or admonishment.

Apart from anything else they mostly seem to justify far too large a dose of Patriachal control, of which I'm not a fan

Nor much liking supernatural beliefs.

But Christianity such as that practiced by say the Episcopalians seems fairly harmless..

They do some great memes, as well.

Must dig some out.
