I don't like Christmas either. The run up is stressful at work with keeping up with upturned work. Its a case of work, sleep then work again with little energy left to prepare for Christmas, house hold duties and enjoying cycling.
When its here i get time off, which then makes me feel really isolated. The hustle and bustle of work is replaced with being at home in solitary confinement. This then makes me feel lonely and anxious.
A good few miles of cycling though in the half decent weather of late does help . Its a time of year that makes you think of the good times and lost loves ones of the past. I can't wait for it to pass and ironically get back to work and into a routine again. After Christmas the nights start drawing out, work is a little hectic which leaves more energy towards cycling and enjoying a spot of gardening again
