Waspyfecker pops up about once or twice a year. Bit early at the moment. I suspect he may appear shortly.

Ant powder is good for hidden nests. Puff the entrance area regular, soon gone.

Also instead of fire, a good jet washer is good to remove the nest after treatment.

Had a bit of a war with them last year. The buggers should replace our builders for construction time.

was working in a loft of a bungalow doing a rewire with the first company i worked as an apprentice for. the electrician was using a long thin bar to go behind coving into the loft for some new light switches . I had seen the nest ,bigger than the one in the youtube vid, and warned the spark NOT to do the back bedroom switch. he misunderstood which room i meant. it was the quickest i have ever exited a loft space in my life.
