What is going on?

People seem to have accepted the use of 'wrong words', e.g using 'of' instead of 'have' - I would of said, rather than I would have said.

I had not really noticed this until recently (it coincided with me buying pyjamas and slippers )..another one I noticed at work was someone using 'howanever' instead of 'however'...WTF is that all about!

Language is not static, it shifts and changes with the people using it. Wouldst thou rather it did not?

I wouldst rather people spell the words as the were intended. 'of' instead of 'have' is just people being lazy and writing as it could be said in some accents. I like regional accents but FFS at least try to spell it the accepted way. The word is not 'of' it is 'have'...

I know why 'of' has replaced 'have' as it's a short form of would've...but it's still ****ing wrong!

Noodles old chap, might I proffer the over-usage of 'them' in comparison to the demise of 'those'? I'm not sure teenagers know that the word 'those' even exists.

Can I get a, like, christmas hat?
