I had a queen building a nest in my storage at the yard. I tried destroying the nest a few times in the very early stages hoping that she would give up and try somewhere else. She didn't so I caught her in a jar and took her for a long cycle. And then released her.

Wasps eat pests on crops, they are actually quite important.

We watched a large hornet tonight dragging an even larger Huntsman spider across the verandah and into the ivy by the fence. We'll probably never see either again because that's where the Sleepy Lizard likes to hang out.

I have an Ozzie reptile winter project coming up at the end of 2018: Youngest daughter is smitten by bearded dragons and wants to start dragon-keeping.
